The fourth episode of the #KeepYSafe podcast by the International Labour Organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan is dedicated to investigating workplace accidents and preventing their recurrence. Participants will discuss the main causes of occupational injuries, existing measures to reduce them, and the role of social dialogue and joint action by the government, employers, and workers in protecting people's lives and health in the workplace.


The podcast was produced as part of the innovative concept “E-Collab.OSH”, a thematic digital space on occupational safety and health, with financial support from the Innovation Fund of the ILO International Training Centre in Turin, Italy, and with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan “PARYZ”, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the project “Promoting occupational safety through social dialogue in the mining industry of Kazakhstan” of the International Labour Organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
