Methodological notes

The map displays data recorded in the Digital Map of Occupational Risks. The information is presented for all legal entities, regardless of their form of ownership, in which workplace accidents or occupational diseases have been recorded.

The unit of measurement is a case of occupational injury, meaning data on one individual who was injured in the course of a single workplace accident.

Workplace accident — an impact on an employee, including an employee of the sending party, of a harmful and/or hazardous occupational factor while performing job (official) duties or assignments of the employer or the receiving party, as a result of which an occupational injury, sudden deterioration of health, or poisoning of the employee or the employee of the sending party occurred, leading to temporary or permanent loss of work capacity or death.
